What Guardian does
Guardian checks emails that a customer or family member forwards to a private Guardian address. We use the forwarded email content and related delivery details to create a scam, suspicious, or safe verdict and show that verdict on the customer dashboard.
Information we collect
We collect account details provided during signup, the protected person's name, guardian contact information, forwarded email content, sender metadata, verdicts, and basic product activity needed to operate the service.
How we use information
We use this information to analyze forwarded emails, display verdicts, send transactional alerts, prevent abuse, debug the product, and improve scam detection. Guardian does not sell personal information.
What Guardian does not do
Guardian does not log into a parent's inbox, does not send replies to email senders, does not move or delete email, and does not act on behalf of a protected person. It only checks messages that are forwarded to Guardian.
Family consent
Customers are responsible for confirming that the protected person agrees to have forwarded emails checked by Guardian. The product is designed to support families, not to secretly monitor someone's inbox.
Contact
Questions, deletion requests, or account changes can be sent through the contact path provided by the Guardian team during the private beta.
